Robert ‘Bob’ Lester Perry was born on July 18, 1945 to parents Lester and Algena (Hines) Perry.   When he was born his father was overseas fighting in World War II.  Bob has lived in the Town of Lyman practically his entire life.  He and his wife, Judy raised their family here.

Bob was an avid sports enthusiast in his youth and played several sports during his high school years.  He carried his love of sports into his adult life as a basketball and baseball coach.  He also taught physical education at the Camden-Rockport High School for a time.  Bob has been a masonry contractor for over 40 years and continues to work in this profession along- side his son, Gannon.

In our interview, Bob talks about, among other things, what it was like growing up in Lyman, his high school years at Kennebunk High School and his military experience.
